Jack Lee Feltenberger

Jack Lee Feltenberger, 67, of Hyde Park, died April 25, 2014 in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA.

He was the husband of Susan Louise (Hunsberger) Feltenberger, whom he married August 28, 1969.

Born January 8, 1947 in Reading, he was a son of the late Theodore C., Sr. and Alberta (Williams) Feltenberger.

Jack was employed as a truck driver with Giorgio Foods, Inc., Blandon for 35 years, last working April 23, 2014.

He was a past member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

Jack was an avid golfer, a cat fancier and was once involved with the Central Fire Company baseball league and Laurel Lanes bowling league.

He was a life member of Central Fire Company Auxiliary.

An avid traveler, Jack and his wife traveled the world together.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his two daughters: Tammy L. Koble of Laureldale and Amy M., wife of Andrew Gantz of Temple.

Other survivors include his six siblings: Earl Feltenberger of Deer Lake, Frederick Feltenberger of Laureldale, Ronald Feltenberger of Hyde Park, Jean (Feltenberger) Putt of Laureldale and Marvanna (Feltenberger) Redstone of Laureldale.

In addition, there are four grandchildren: Austin Joseph Snyder, Hailey Elyse Koble, Dane Alexander Koble and Samantha Grace Gantz.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Viewings will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 and Thursday from 10-11, both in the funeral home. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
