Jack R. Cirulli

Jack R. Cirulli, 59, passed away February 24, 2014 in his Muhlenberg Township residence, surrounded by his loving family after his brave battle with cancer.

He was the loving husband of Sue L. (Galvin) Cirulli, whom he married on July 30, 1977.

Born May 14, 1954 in Reading, he was a son of Carolyn (Schwartz) Cirulli, Laureldale, and James Cirulli.

Jack was a 1972 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and attended Kutztown University.

He last worked for Fibermark, and spent many years with AT&T/Lucent/Agere

Jack served his community in many ways, as a coach, as president of the Muhlenberg Swimming Association for many years, as a youth group mentor and Sunday school teacher, and as a devoted and loving father. He loved the beach, summers with his children, music, art, and got the most out of each day of his life.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by his four children: Michelle E., wife of Andrew C. Nass, Shillington; Nina M. Cirulli, and Christopher Kline Laureldale; Nicole M., wife of Christopher F. Moyer, Temple; and Michael J. Cirulli, Temple. Also surviving are his brother, Sam Cirulli, Laureldale; his grandchildren: Abigail E. Nass, Emily G. Nass, and another grandchild on the way. He will also leave behind his loving extended family.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale. A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnstitzelfuneralhomes.com.
