Jack A. Barnhard

Jack A. Barnhard, 78, of Temple died December 9, 2006 in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Patricia A. (Becker) Barnhard.

Born in Muhlenberg Twp., he was the son of the late Samuel G. and Jennie L. (Steininger) Barnhard.

He was an electrical engineer for MetEd for 38 years retiring in 1988

Jack was a U.S. Navy veteran. He also was a graduate of Reading High School.

He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

Other survivors include one son, Jeffrey A. husband of Lori Barnhard, West Reading and one daughter, Lori A. (Barnhard) Natale, Sinking Spring. There is also one brother Gerald Homan, Exeter Twp. Three grandchildren, Jared, Maxx and Jaime and one great grandson, Nathan also survive him.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the service. www.christfuneralhome.com
