J. Donald Seidel

J. Donald Seidel, 85, of West Lawn, passed away on November 1st at Thomas Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia.

Born in West Lawn, he was the son of the late Clarence and Ella (Knockstead) Seidel.

He was the husband of Anna R. (Smith) Seidel.

J. Donald was a 1939 graduate of Wilson High School.

He worked for Carpenter Technology as a Clerk in the Block Office for 12 years until his retirement in 1990.

J. Donald was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Reading.

He is survived by two sons, Craig G. Seidel and Jeffrey D. husband of Joanna Seidel all of Reading, and one daughter Marilyn L. Seidel at home.

There is also one grandson, Trevor C. Seidel.

Funeral services will be at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
