J. William Maloney

J. William Maloney, 80, Wyomissing, died Oct. 17 in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Faith T. (Taylor) Maloney.

Born in Southbridge, Mass., he was a son of the late John and Yvonne (Comeau) Maloney.

Maloney retired as vice president and general manager of PepsiCo, Reading, in 1989. He previously worked in sales for many years at American Optical Co., Southbridge.

He was a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Wilshire.

Maloney was a graduate of St. Mary's High School, Southbridge, and a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Mass.

He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.

Maloney is also survived by a son, Craig T., Flying Hills, and a daughter, Beth (Maloney) Rawden, Malvern, Chester County.

Other survivors include a sister, Dorothy (Maloney) Bachrand, Murrells Inlet, S.C., and one granddaughter.

Memorial services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading.
