Irwin R. Noll

Irwin R. "Pug" Noll, 68 of Wyomissing died suddenly September 3 at 5:05 p.m. in Reading Hospital Intensive Care Unit, where he had been a patient since September 1.

He was the husband of Jennifer R. (Radtke) Noll.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Irwin B. and Virginia G. (Wentzel) Noll.

Irv's career spanned 41 years. He began with the Narrow Fabric Division of the Wyomissing Corporation as sales and marketing manager in the paper division. Later he became vice-president of sales with Narrow Fabric Industries, retiring in 2001.

Irv was a member of the Northern Textile Association.

He was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School in 1956 and of The College of Textile and Sciences, Philadelphia in 1961.

Irv was an avid golfer; he was a member of the Berkshire Country Club since 1981. He played with the same foursome every Saturday for the last 24 years and always dressed to a "Tee". During his golf career he had three hole in ones.

He was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing.

Other survivors include three sons, Brian I., Wernersville, David J., Pittsburgh and Tyler C. a student at Lynchburg College and three daughters Brenda N. (Noll) Zimmerman, Virginia Beach, VA, Brandi N. (Noll) Clavel, Williamsburg, VA and Stephanie W. Noll, Davidson, NC. "Poppy" is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Nicole Jean Zimmerman, John Corey Zimmerman, Sophia Linn Clavel and Broderick Jhet Clavel.

Services will be Friday at 4 p.m. in Atonement Lutheran Church 5 Wyomissing Blvd. Wyomissing, PA 19610. Inurnment will be in the church columbarium. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Lung Association 2121 City Line Road Bethlehem, PA 18017 or to Atonement Lutheran Church at the above address. Edward J.
