Irvin S. Schlenker

Irvin (Irv) S. Schlenker, 68 formerly of Hamburg died May 29, 2016. His wife, Elaine Schlenker, predeceased him. He was born in West Reading and was the son of the late Samuel I. Schlenker and Grace A. Schlenker of Hamburg. Irv was a 1965 graduate of Hamburg High School and served honorably in the United States Marine Corp as a Vietnam Era Veteran from 1968 to 1970. Irv was a dedicated businessman in retail jewelry sales. After retirement Irv was an avid model rocket enthusiast. In addition to his mother, his son, Bradley S Schlenker, Georgia, daughter, Courtney Jo Voorhees, California, 7 grandchildren, Heather N., Joseph S., Samuel D., Matthew A.S. and Luke A. Schlenker, Eric L. and Molly Jo Voorhees and a brother David H. Schlenker, Hamburg, survives Irvin. Services were private and at the convenience of the family.
