Irma E. Moll

Irma Elizabeth (Weikel) Moll, 102, formerly of Reading, died May 25, 2008 at 10:52 pm in the Mifflin Center, Cumru Township.

She was the widow of Earl G. Moll, who died June 13, 1974.

Born in Shamokin, Schuylkill County, on December 9, 1905, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Stark) Weikel.

She was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Irma is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth M. Zipf, of Summerfield, Florida.

Other survivors include four grandchildren: Lee Zipf, husband of Susan of Mohnton, Lynn wife of Peter Champagne of Sinking Spring, Ann wife of Scott Horn of Douglassville and Lori Zipf of Williamsport. There are also six great grandchildren: Allison Sobota, Kimberly Murgitroyde, David Champagne, Amanda Champagne, Jeremy Smith and Devon Horn.

Irma is also survived by a great great granddaughter, Maddison L. Bartholomew. She was predeceased by four siblings; Edward Weikel, Frank Weikel, Edith Bricker and Mildred Burkett.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Today at 1:30 pm in St. Paul's R.C. Church, 151 North 9th Street, Reading, PA 19601, with Fr. Andrew Ulincy celebrating. A viewing will be held from 1:00 pm until time of Mass in the Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
