Irene M. Schwambach

Irene D. Schwambach, 77, died September 21, 2010 in her Muhlenberg Township residence.

Her husband, Francis R. Schwambach, died January 3, 2003.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late John and Joy Fundyga.

She was a graduate of Reading High School.

Irene loved life as much as life loved her. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim I., wife of Joseph P. Bonner and her brother, John, husband of Janice Fundyga, all of Muhlenberg Township. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Corinne Fecho, Kami Fecho and Caitlin Bonner and one great-granddaughter, Maeve.

Graveside services will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. in Forest Hills Memorial Park, 391 W. Neversink Rd., Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading PA 19605. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
