Irene R. Runkel

Irene R. (Endy) Runkel, 72, of Wernersville, died March 3, 2015, in Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Claude E. Runkel.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Endy.

She was a 1960 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children: Susanne M., wife of Sheldon Henne, Wyomissing, Karen L., wife of Matthew Mark, Wernersville, Deborah A. Jambeau, Sinking Spring and Michael D., husband of Laurie Runkel, Laureldale.

She is also survived by eleven grandchildren: Tracie, Chad, husband of Brittany, Patrick, companion to Rose, James, companion to Scarlett, David, husband of Amanda, Joseph, fiancée to Emily, Carissa, companion to Josh, Branden, Sasha, Michael II, and Lindsay and eight great-grandchildren: Chase, Savanah, Blake, Lily, Alexis, Austin, Tymmi and Gabriella.
