Irene J. Moll

Irene J. Moll, 94, of Maidencreek Twp., died April 27 at 10:04 a.m. in Reading Hospital where she had been for one day. She was taken there from Hearthstone at Maidencreek, where she had resided for the past four months.

Her husband Earl W. Moll died August 7, 1994.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Johnson) Meals.

She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Molltown, where she was a longtime volunteer.

Survivors include one daughter Darlene I. (Moll) wife of B. Rob Roth, Wyomissing and three sons, Earl R. husband of Elsie Moll, Blandon, Lester W. husband of Mary Moll, Wyomissing Hills and Roland H. husband of Denise Moll, Kutztown.

There are also three brothers, Hiram "Bud" Meals, in Fair Oaks California, Earl Meals, Blandon and Paul Meals, Simpsonsville, SC. Other survivors include 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Peter's UCC. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Molltown. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements. Family and friends may call Monday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Laureldale and Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
