Irene I. Labe

Irene Isabella (Hoffman) Labe, 74, of 2440 Cleveland Avenue, West Wyomissing, died June 23rd at 8:05 p.m. in Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Reading where she had been since June 20th.

She was the wife of Roger Jacob Labe (Married June 14, 1947).

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of late Charles and Clara (Frymoyer) Hoffman.

She was a Candy Packer for 37 years at Luden's, Reading before retiring in 1991.

Labe was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Reading.

She is also survived by two daughters, Colene C. (Labe) wife of Ronald L Jacobs and Deborah I. (Labe) wife of Bradford L. Ehrgood both of Reading.

Other survivors include two sisters, Virginia (Hoffman) widow of Russell Miller of Robesonia and Catherine (Hoffman) wife of Robert Schlaybach of Reading.

There are seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday 11:00am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Viewing 10:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
