Irene G. Huck

Irene G. (Gring) Huck, 82, formerly of Wernersville and Spring Township, died December 18th at 11:52 am in Berks Heim where she had been a resident October 15, 2001.

She was the widow of Bernard J. Huck, who died May 31, 2001.

Born in Lower Heidelberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Ammon and Elizabeth (Balthaser) Gring.

She was a 1940 graduate of Reading High School.

Huck worked for 30 years as a receptionist for Dr. Patrick Mazza, Reading before retiring in 1985.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Huck is survived by a son, John M. Huck of Wernersville and two daughters, Susan L. (Huck) Walley of Shoemakersville and Kathleen H. (Huck) Yarwood of West Grove, Chester County.

There are also 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 am in St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2810 St. Alban's Drive, Whitfield, Sinking Spring, Pa 19608. Visitation Thursday 9:30 am until time of Mass in the church. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
