Irene Greth

Irene Greth, 81, of Reading, died March 18, 2014 in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center.

She was the wife of Richard Irvin Greth, whom she married September 1, 1956.

Born in Reading on August 14, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Haluska) Pestlikes.

She was a 1950 graduate of Reading High School.

Irene worked at Western Electric for 30 years, retiring in 1984.

She is also survived by a brother, Jordan Pestlikes, and 10 nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, PA 19605. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Becker's St. Peter's Cemetery, Molltown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 1801 N. 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604.
