Irene H. Farina

Irene H. Farina, 79, of Wyomissing, died of natural causes on April 5th at her residence.

She was the wife of Richard D. Farina of Wyomissing.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Mary (Nawrocki) Czartorynski.

She attended St. Peter's High School, Reading.

Farina worked at Vanity Fair for 45 years as a sales clerk and a receptionist until her retirement in 1999.

She was a member of Sacred Heart RCC, West Reading.

She is survived by one daughter, Diane C. (Farina) Kita of Wyomissing and one son, Larry R. Farina of West Reading.

Other survivors include three sisters, Anna Czartorynski of West Reading, Frances (Czartorynski) Wernicki of Wernersville, and Pauline (Czartorynski) Keiser of Sinking Spring.

There are also two Granddaughters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart RCC, West Reading. Friends may call from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Berks County Visiting Nurses Hospice Care 1170 Berkshire Blvd. Wyomissing, Pa 19610 or American Cancer Society 498 Bellevue Ave. Reading, PA 19605. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
