Irene Beltz

Irene Beltz, 87, died September 28, 2013 in her Fleetwood Borough residence.

She was the wife of Earl C. Beltz who died February 13, 2000.

Born April 22, 1926 in Millville, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Jay W. and Edith (Sparks) Chambers.

Irene was a life-long member of the Church of God.

She was a Phillies fan, enjoyed doing puzzles and most of all, spending time with family.

Surviving are her six children: Paul E., widower of Joyce E. Beltz of Harrisburg; Robert W., husband of Carol J. Beltz of Blandon; Ann L., wife of Phillip Kantner of Richmond Township; Thomas K., husband of Lucille M. Beltz of Shoemakersville; James E., husband of Faylene Beltz of Tilden Township and Joan M., wife of Joseph M. Iwanyszyn of Monterey, TN.

Other survivors include her 2 siblings, Winifred Boyer of CT and Earl Chambers of Audubon, NJ.

There are also 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren surviving.

Irene was predeceased by her six siblings.

Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Viewings will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 and Thursday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
