Ira G. Mohler

Ira G. Mohler, 101, of Wyomissing, died February 24, 2012 in The Highlands at Wyomissing, Skilled Nursing Center.

His wife, Dorothy L. (Lemmer) Mohler, passed away January 23, 2009.

Born in Stevens, Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Morris W. and Lizzie (Gerhart) Mohler.

He was founder and president of Ira G. Mohler and Son, Inc. Shillington, from 1936 to 1975.

Ira was a charter member and former two time president, 1951 and 1959, of the American Business Club of Spring Township.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in the Pacific during WWII.

Ira was a member of Lincoln Park United Methodist Church, Lincoln Park, West Lawn.

He is survived by his son, Ira Barry, husband of Virginia E. Mohler, Wyomissing. Also surviving is one sibling Rhe Robinson, Sinking Spring; two grandchildren: I. Peter Mohler, and Sandra L. Mohler, and a great-grandchild, Valerie Mohler Kerschner.

Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Lincoln Park United Methodist Church, 4 Cambridge Ave. Lincoln Park, West Lawn, PA 19609. A viewing will be held 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the church. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
