Ingrid Erna Immendorf, 75, formerly of Spring Township, died early, on the morning of September 5, 2008 in Lancaster General Hospital.

She was married August 14, 1959 to the late David Noel Immendorf, who died March 18, 1994.

Born in Reading, PA on January 7, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Walter A. and Elsa M. (Wolf) Zimmerman.

She was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church, West Lawn.

Ingrid was employed by the Reading-Berks County Chamber of Commerce; Berkshire Knitting Mills, Wyomissing; Vocational Rehabilation Services, Wyomissing and last worked with Engineering Management Inc., Wyomissing, retiring in 1985.

She was a former treasurer for Wives of the Engineers of Reading; Women's Club of Whitfield, Girl Scout Troop #711, Whitfield; President of Van Reed Hospital Auxiliary of Reading Hospital.

Ingrid is survived by a son, David E., husband of Natalie Immendorf of Fleetwood; and two daughters: Lisa, wife of Allen Schell of Lancaster; Kris, wife of Richard Notaro of Spring Hill, Florida and a step-daughter, Cheryl L. Woyton, Exeter.

Also surviving are nine grandchildren: Staci, and Beth Woyton, Chris, and Valerie Schell, David N., and Robert Immendorf, Darrell Hutchko, Shannon Hassler, and Lindsey Ludwig.

Services will be Monday at 5:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, with the Rev. Jeffrey A. Raffauf officiating. A viewing will begin one hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 25 Stevens Ave # A-10, Reading, PA 19609.
