Ingeborg W. Boran

Ingeborg (Werner) Boran, 94 of The Heritage of Green Hills passed away on May 28th in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center. She was the widow of Robert E. Boran who died October 7, 2015. Inge was born in Breslau, Germany and was the daughter of the late Hildegard Werner. After completing her education in Germany, she worked as a retail pharmacy clerk in that country. She then worked as a cost accountant for the Sorensen Company, Darby, PA for 25 years. Ingeborg was a member of St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church, Mohnton. She was a member of various organizations at the Heritage of Green Hills including the Quilting Club and the Sunshine Committee. Inge is survived by nephews, Edward husband of Karen Boran, State College, PA, Jack widower of Beverly Boran, Hamburg, PA; nieces Kathy (Boran) wife of William Winter, Seattle, WA, Donna (Althouse) wife of John Jones, Harrisburg, PA and Suzanne (Boran) wife of Joseph Widdis, Thornton, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM from St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, June 2nd. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamburg. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church, 2020 Chestnut Hill Road, Mohnton, PA 19540.
