Illona E. Newmoyer

Illona E. (Wasckiewicz) Newmoyer, 80, of Exeter Township, passed away May 18, 2016, at ManorCare, West Reading.

She was the wife of Gordon E. Newmoyer. They married on August 22, 1964.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late, Adam and Josephine (Tomczak) Wasckiewicz.

Illona was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family. One of the best gifts she gave her children was staying at home to raise them.

She was a member of St. Catharine's Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Penn.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children: Jocelyn Newmoyer, Long Island, NY; Lisa, wife of Bill Zana; Kiersten, wife of Roger Reto, all of Reading; Erika Austill, West Reading and Brent Newmoyer, Reading; and one sister, Dorine, wife of Homer Williams, Reading. Eight grandchildren: Zachary; Arielle; Daniel; Dominic; Micky; Julianna; Kathryn and Kelly and one great-granddaughter, Bianca also survive her.
