Howard T. Wilkinson

Howard T. Wilkinson, 72, Wyomissing, died July 2 at 3:45 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since June 1. He was the husband of Ruth A. (Haines) Wilkinson.

Born in Norristown, he was a son of the late Howard T. and Ruelma (Rishel) Wilkinson.

Wilkinson was employed for 25 years as a salesman by Textron Inc., Lansdale, retiring in 1978.

He was a 1951 graduate of Conshohocken High School.

Wilkinson was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

He also is survived by a son, H. Jay, Wyomissing; and two daughters, Nanette L. (Wilkinson) Mohring, Sinking Spring, and Paula (Wilkinson) Rutt, Wyomissing.

Other survivors include four grandchildren: Alicia Daniels, Megan Mohring and Madison Rutt and Connor Rutt.

There also is a great-grandchild, Lily Daniels.

Memorial services will be private in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, the Rev. William Zimmerman officiating. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
