Howard S. Peifer

Howard Samuel Peifer, 63, of Daytona Beach, FL, died January 8, 2012 in Ormond Beach, FL.

Born February 12, 1949 in Reading, he was a son of the late Samuel Peifer and Betty (DaDamio) Auman.

Howard was a 1967 graduate of Reading High School.

He was employed as a tool and die maker with Dana Corporation for 30 years, retiring in 1997. After moving to Florida, Howard started his own business; a thrift shop called, How's This and That, which he operated for the past 10 years.

Surviving is a son, Troy Peifer of Daytona Beach, FL and a brother Jeffrey G. Auman of West Lawn.

Howard is also survived by numerous loving family members and friends.

A Memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
