Howard S. Hill

Howard S. Hill, Jr., 67, of Shillington, died January 28, 2010 in Hershey Medical Center.

He was the husband of Shirley J. (Dietrich) Hill, whom he married on February 15, 1964.

Born in Doylestown, he was a son of the late Howard S., Sr. and Jennie Hill.

He was a 1960 graduate of Central Bucks High School, Doylestown.

Howard was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

He was employed for 34 years as a parts manager by Dick Horrigan Volkswagon, Leesport, now Vision, retiring in 2008.

Howard was an assistant baseball coach for the Shillington Little League.

He enjoyed his family vacations and was a proud grandfather.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, David S., husband of Kristen Hill, Wernersville and his daughter, Barbara J., wife of Jeffrey Seidel, New Tripoli and his brother, John, husband of Arlene Hill, Hatfield; and four grandchildren, Shelby Seidel, Joseph Seidel, Jared Hill and Jayden Hill also survive him.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be private in Whitemarsh Cemetery.
