Holly Ann Lamont

Holly Ann (Sibley) Lamont passed away from this earth on November 7, 2014 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center at the age of 40.

She is survived by her husband, Gregory T. Lamont of Wyomissing, step-son Collin A. Lamont, daughter Amelia M. Lamont, and son Calvin S. Lamont, all of Wyomissing.

Other family include her mother, Mary F. Sibley, wife of the late Lawrence R. Sibley of Shrewsbury, PA; brother, C. Andrew Sibley of York with wife Heather M., parents of Eden M., Jude T., and Anna E.

Also surviving family include the Lamonts of Shillington, the Heists of Mohnton, the Beckers of West Lawn, and my Baltimore family.

Holly was a graduate of Susquehannock High School in Glen Rock, PA. She was a 1996 graduate of Alvernia University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a 2001 graduate of Alvernia with a Masters in Urban Education.

She worked as a 1st grade teacher at Thomas Ford Elementary from 1998-2012. She then moved to Millmont Elementary, working there from 2012-2014.

Holly enjoyed crafts, baking, being creative, and most of all loved to make a joke. She always laughed when the word "duty" was used or or someone used the word "do" twice in a row. Nothing made her feel as good than to have someone laugh at what she said.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Holly's name to Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County, 529 Reading Ave, Reading, PA 19611 or to www.metavivor.org.
