Hilda M. Hanner

Hilda M. Hanner, 87, of Northampton, PA passed away on March 20, 2014 at Lehigh Valley In-patient Hospice. Born in Coplay on July 24th 1926, she was the daughter of John and Anna (Seier) Solderits. She was the widow of Peter W. Hanner who passed away February 24, 1979. They were married on August 11, 1945.

She worked at the General Cigar Factory in Allentown and for various shirt factories until her retirement in 1994 at age 68. She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish and their Golden Agers.

Surviving are her 2 daughters, Kathleen A., wife of Michael Schorn of Reading, and Denise H., wife of David Continenza of Whitehall; eight grandchildren: Colleen, Maribeth, Megen, Erin, Kelley, Dan, Dara & Domenic; and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters Anna Recker & Stellar Weissner, and brothers John & Emil Solderits.

A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Elizabeth's Church on Monday, March 24th and burial was at St. Peter's Cemetery, Coplay. Robert A.
