Hila S. Manwiller

Hila S. Manwiller, 90, died Nov. 27 at 1:35 a.m. in her residence on Fairview Street, Hyde Park.

Her husband, Elmer O. Manwiller, died Sept. 28, 1997.

Born in Ladora, Iowa, she was a daughter of the late Harry S. and Ellen (Gleason) Sharp.

Manwiller was a graduate of the first class at Muhlenberg High School in 1929.

She was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church, Hyde Park, where she was a former choir member for many years.

Manwiller was a past president of the Muhlenberg Lionettes Club.

Surviving are two sons, Marlan E., at home, and G. Peter, Riverview Park.

Other survivors include a brother, William H. Sharp, Laureldale; and a grandson.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Viewing 1pm until time of service. Burial will be in Alsace Cemetery, Hyde Park.
