Hiester W. Haeseler

Hiester William Haeseler, 83, of 7 Pinewoods Court, Cumru Township, died August 3rd at 7:00 am in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center where he had been since July 26th.

Haeseler was formerly of 3320 Freemont Street, Laureldale.

He was the husband of Lillian Cora (Snyder) Haeseler, at home.

Born in Pottsville, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Frank T. Sr., and Estella (Trout) Haeseler.

Haeseler worked for 36 years as a clerk for the former Reading Railroad before retiring in 1986.

He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Muhlenberg Township.

Haeseler was an Army Veteran of WWII.

He is also survived by three daughters; Faye C. (Haeseler) wife of Guy A. Maser of Tampa, Florida, Carol J. (Haeseler) Fisher of Cumru Township and Linda A. (Haeseler) Reeves of Naples, Florida.

Other survivors include two brothers, Frank T. Haeseler Jr. of Pottsville, Schuylkill County and Allen Haeseler of Englewood, Florida.

There are two granddaughters and four great granddaughters.

Services will be Thursday at 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Gerald C. Arndt officiating. Viewing 10:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 4201 Stoudt's Ferry Bridge Road, Reading, Pa 19605.
