Herman F. Beidler

Herman F. Beidler, 93, of West Reading, died January 8, 2011 in Spruce Manor.

He was the husband of Leona M. (Biffel) Beidler.

Born in Robesonia, he was a son of the late James and Elmira (Froelich) Beidler.

Herman was a 1938 graduate of Robesonia High School.

He worked as a knitter in the Berkshire Knitting Mill, West Reading and retired from Polymer Plastics, Reading.

He was a member of St. Daniel's Lutheran Church, Robesonia.

Herman loved golfing, fishing, soccer and dancing.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his son, Barry S., husband of Patricia A. Beidler, Mt Penn and his sister, Doris, widow of Dan Boyer, Mt. Penn.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
