Herbert J. Wolfinger

Herbert J. Wolfinger, Sr., 85, of 25 Adele Avenue, Blandon, (Maidencreek Township), Pa 19510, died September 29th at 6:47 am in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center where he had been since September 16th.

He was the husband of Olive H. (DeLong) Wolfinger.

Born in Greenwich Township, he was a son of the late Jeremiah and Ellavada R. (Dietrich)Wolfinger.

He worked for 36 years at Exide, Muhlenberg Township before retiring as a supervisor in 1979.

Wolfinger is also survived by two sons, Herbert J. Jr., of Lebanon, Maine and David B. Sr., of East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County.

Other survivors include three daughters, Ellen M. (Wolfinger) Eisenhart and Betty Lou (Wolfinger) Reed both of Reading and Elaine J. (Wolfinger) Weik of Hyde Park.

He is also survived by a sister, Alice M. (Wolfinger) Reinert of Blandon.

There are 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing Monday 10:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
