Herbert T. Wolfe

Herbert T. Wolfe, 86, of the Highlands at Wyomissing died Aug. 13 at 5:39 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since Aug. 7.

His wife, Margaret M. (Martz) Wolfe, died in 1984.

Born in Port Carbon, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Mahlon and Beulah (Koch) Wolfe.

Wolfe was employed for 35 years as a fireman and engineer by Reading Company, retiring in 1976.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Surviving is a sister, Ruth (Wolfe) Getty, Abington, Montgomery County.

Services will be Monday at noon in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc. Friends may call Monday from 11 am until time of service. Burial will in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Lebanon County. Contributions may be made to Salvation Army Corp Community Center, 301 South 5th Street., Reading, Pa 19602.
