Henry P. Kuhn

Henry P. Kuhn, 90, of Shillington, died August 17, 2012 in Mifflin Center, Cumru Township.

He was the husband of Margaret (DiCamillo) Kuhn whom he married June 12, 1948.

Born September 5, 1921 in Union Bridge, MD, he was a son of the late Henry and Anna (Stuefulek) Kuhn.

Henry was employed as a press and crane operator with Dana Corporation for 25 years, retiring in 1991.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

Henry loved to fish and was generally a happy man; he was affectionately called "Smiley" by the staff at Mifflin Center.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Richard A., husband of Patricia Kuhn of Shillington; a sister, Anna Machemer of Virginia; two grandchildren, Richard A. II, husband of Sheila (Weidner) Kuhn and Stephanie R. Kuhn; a step-grandson, Anthony P., husband of Jennifer L. (Pinchak) Kuhn; two great grandchildren, Dylon and Jade and a step-great granddaughter, Taylor.

Henry was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Muhlenberg Township.
