Henry J. Eckenroth

Henry J. Eckenroth, Jr., 74, of Sunny Crest Home, Morgantown, died July 3, 2009 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Henry J., Sr., and Alma A. (Bingaman) Eckenroth.

He was a graduate of Wilson High School.

Henry was employed by Prospectus Berco, Reading for more than fifteen years.

He was a member of the West Lawn United Methodist Church.

Henry was the happiest when he was spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed his summer vacations with his family at the Jersey shore and going fishing and camping with his dad. Sports were very important to Henry; he participated in track and field at the Special Olympics at West Chester University for three years. He will be dearly missed by his family.

Henry is survived by his sister, Patricia A., wife of Raymond J. Stubblebine, Wyomissing and his niece, Cynthia A., wife of Brian R. Geske, Wyomissing.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Robeson Cemetery, Plowville. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
