Henry U. Drasher

Henry U. Drasher, 60, of West Reading, died January 15, 2009 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the husband of Kathleen F. (Ziemba) Drasher.

Born in Hempstead, N.Y., on February 10, 1948, he was a son of the late Henry U. and Myrle H. (Cabey) Drasher.

Henry was a 1966 graduate of Ridley Township High School and a 1969 graduate of the Philadelphia Navy Yard Apprentice Program. He was employed as an electrician by American Crane Company in Douglassville.

He was a member of the Reading Motorcycle Club, Professional Ski Instructors of America, Flying Dutchmen Ski Club and a past director of their ski school.

Henry is survived by a step-son, Chris Gamber, Reading and a brother, Donald L. Drasher, Bethlehem.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, January 24, 2009, at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
