Henry Dombroski

Henry Dombroski, of Simi Valley, CA, passed away peacefully after an extended illness on December 15, 2009.

He was born in Reading, PA on February 22, 1927. He served his country from 1944 to 1946 in the U.S. Navy during World War II with honorable discharge in 1946.

He then met and married his wife Gloria, in 1954. Henry and Gloria moved to Simi Valley in 1962.

Henry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Henry enjoyed watching his two grandchildren play soccer and baseball. He was an avid horse player. You could find him many of Saturdays at the race track with his son Dale.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ella Dombroski; two sisters, Josie and Helen; and his brother Edward.

He is survived by his wife Gloria; his two sons, David and Dale; two grandchildren, Sarah and Justin; daughter-in-law, Lori; brother, Joseph; Joseph's wife, Peggy; sister, Florence; and his cousins, Kathy, Larry and Tom among many cousins.

Services were held in Simi Valley, CA.
