Helene E. Holland-Moritz

Helene E. Holland-Moritz, 86, of Douglassville, died October 9, 2009 in the Golden Living Center.

Born in Steinbach-Hallenberg, Germany, she was a daughter of the late August W. and Anna L. (Wirth) Holland-Moritz.

She was a valedictorian graduate of Wyomissing High School.

Helene was the owner of Holland-Moritz dress shop, Pottstown, after she co-owned The Primrose Shop in Reading. She also worked as a society writer for the Reading Eagle.

She is survived by her sister, Anita Holland-Moritz, Guilford, CT. Her two nephews, Peter Holschuh and Kai Holschuh also survive her.

Services will be Tuesday October 27th at 11 a.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church, 521 Walnut St., Reading. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, 225 E. Schuylkill Rd., Pottstown 19465.
