Helen Marie Westley

Helen Marie (Angstadt) Westley, 90, formerly of Muhlenberg Township, died April 4, 2014 in Berks Heim, Bern Township.

She was the wife of Earl K. Westley, whom she married May 12, 1973.

Born March 15, 1924 in Oley Township, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Sarah Elizabeth (Ohlinger) Angstadt.

Helen was a 1942 graduate of Oley Valley High School.

She was employed as a layout operator with Western Electric for over 30 years, retiring in 1983.

Helen was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, is her son, Billy N., husband of Donna M. VanKirk of Alsace Township; her step-children, Michael E. Westley of Seattle, WA and Eileen J. Hetrick of Hershey.

Also surviving are her five grandchildren: Brett VanKirk, Mary VanKirk, Lauren Hetrick, Ben Westley and Peter Westley and three great grandchildren.

Other survivors include her three siblings: Ellen M. Nester of Reading, William R. Angstadt of Oley and Frances L. Reichert of Oley.

Helen was predeceased by her sister, Anna E. Angstadt.
