Helen V. Wagner

Helen V. (Katarzynski) Wagner, 88, of Haak Street, Reading, died April 10th at 9:00 am in Beverly Manor, Exeter Township, where she had been since December 23, 2004.

She was the wife of Robert P. Wagner.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John and Frances (Szymanski) Katarzynski.

She was a member of St. Catherine's of Sienna Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township.

Wagner was employed for a number of years as a topper at Berkshire Knitting Mills.

She is also survived by four daughters, Janet M. (Wagner) wife of Joseph E. Dolan of Exeter Township, Barbara J. (Wagner) Crater, New Jersey, Theresa H. (Wagner) wife of Bruce Kennedy of Bass Lake, CA and Cathy A. (Wagner) wife of Allan Hahn of Bern Township.

Other survivors include a sister, Betty (Katarzynski) Fotias of Pennside, eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy L. Wagner, who died December 12, 1961.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 am in St. Catherine's of Sienna Roman Catholic Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, Pa 19606. Viewing Thursday one hour prior to Mass. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church at the above address or to Pinnacle Health Hospice. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
