Helen V. Prydybasz

Helen Victoria (Glodzik) Prydybasz, 88, formerly of 3520 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, died August 14, 2008 in St. Louis, MO.

She was the widow of Andrew Prydybasz, who died May 1998.

Born in Reading, PA on April 6, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Gunser) Glodzik.

She was employed a number of years as a packer with Talbet Industries and was also the owner of Helen's Variety Store for a number of years.

Helen is survived by a son, Andrew M. Prydybasz, husband of D. Sondra Boren-Prydybasz of St. Louis, MO.

Other survivors include two grandchildren: Judith F. (Boren) Ewbank of St. Louis, MO and Todd A. Prydybasz of Atlanta, GA.

Helen is also survived by two siblings: Lottie Dominicis and Julie Wawrzonek.

She was predeceased by a sister, Stella Masin.

A Requiem High Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 am in St. Stephen's Polish National Church, 20 St. Stephen's Church Lane, Cumru Township, with the Very Rev. Edward D. Ratajack celebrating. A visitation will be held Monday evening 6:30 - 8:00 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Polish National Church Cemetery.
