Helen Troika

Helen Troika, 94, died February 17, 2011, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Her husband, Rolfe L. Troika, died in 1985.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Kageos) Harris.

Helen was a graduate of Bryland Beauty School.

She was employed for 25 years as a supervisor for Berkshire Knitting Mills. Later, she was a hair dresser for Bell Tower and Dastra Beauty Shop.

Helen was a member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.

Helen is survived by her son Paul Troika, her brother, James Harris and her sister, Sophie Harris, all of Reading.

She was predeceased by one son, Peter Vorvis.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1001 E. Wyomissing Blvd., Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading and Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Contributions may be made to Sts.
