Helen Trevi Svenson, 77, died November 25, 2008 in her Leesport residence.

She was married to the late Carl Wilhelm Svenson who died August 28, 1995.

Born December 26, 1930 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Aloysius Francis and Helen Marie (Yackabonus) Trevi.

Helen graduated from Little Flower High School, Philadelphia in 1949.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

Helen was also a member of Third Order of Carmel, where she was named Sister Aloysius of the Blessed Sacrament.

Surviving are six children: Celeste M., wife of Al Brodeur of Clarksville, TN; David J., husband of Lillian (Sweitzer) Svenson of Muhlenberg Township; James J. and Dawn Strause Svenson of Dauberville, PA; Stephen J. and Michelle Roulias Svenson of Schuylkill Haven; Theresa M. , wife of Todd L. Leonhard of Bernville and Patricia M., wife of Eric T. Stupp of Bethel and a son-in-law Terry Heitt of Hepzibah, GA; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Helen was predeceased by two daughters, Pamela M. (Svenson) Heitt and Kathryn M. Svenson and a sister Rosemary A. Trevi.

In addition there is one brother John F.X., husband of Patricia A. (Sanbore) Trevi of Ocean City, NJ.

She will be sadly missed by her two dogs, Teddy and Buttons.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. A viewing will be held one hour prior to mass in the church. Burial will be private in Holy Sepluchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
