Helen J. Stricker

Helen Josephine (Clemente) Stricker, 84, formerly of Lincoln Park, died November 6, 2011 in Berkshire Commons, Exeter Township.

She was the wife of Edgar J. Stricker who died in 1994.

Born April 1, 1927 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Rocco Vincento and Madeline (Passero) Clemente.

Helen was employed with the former Bell Labs, now Lucent Technologies, for 10 years, where she was also a member of the Pioneer's Club for many years.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist de la Salle R.C. Church, Shillington.

Surviving are four sisters, Angeline (Clemente) Zieber of Wyomissing, Grace M. (Clemente) Ziemer of West Lawn, Gloria A. (Clemente) Klusewitz of West Wyomissing and Rosemarie (Clemente) Intelisano of Spring Township.

Helen was predeceased by nine siblings: Michael, John, Anthony and Lena Clemente, Marie (Clemente) Hobwood, Clara (Clemente) Castellano, Lucy (Clemente) Klusewitz, Virginia (Clemente) Scarpignato and Victoria (Clemente) Civita.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. John's Church, 420 Holland Street, Shillington. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading.
