Helen M. Sam

Helen M. Sam, 62, of Spring Twp., died April 29 at 6:45 p.m. in St. Joseph's Hospital, Reading, where she had been since April 21.

Born in Mahoney City, she was the daughter of the late John and Ella (Reagan) Hobbs.

She was a graduate of Mahoney Area High School in 1961.

Survivors include one daughter, Lori (Sam) Baldwin, Lancaster and two sons, Christopher M., Exeter Twp. and William, Baltimore, MD.

There are also two sisters, Margaret (Hobbs) Gawley, Malvern and Jeannie (Hobbs) Mikalauskas, Wallingford and one brother John Hobbs, Bethlehem. Other survivors include three granddaughters, Ragen, Riley and Jasmine.

Services will be Thursday at 6 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Friends may call Thursday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
