Helen S. Roth

Helen S. Roth, 87 of Hamburg died February 4, 2010 in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center. She was the widow of Russell C. Roth who died September 24, 2000. Helen was born in Tilden Township and was a daughter of the late John H. and Mary A. (Sunday) Roth. Helen was a 1940 graduate of Hamburg High School. She worked at the Laurel Center in Tilden Township as a nurse's aide for several years before retiring in 1982. She is survived by a daughter, Ginny L. (Roth) wife of Wayne Freeman, Hamburg and a son, Theodore R. husband of Margaret A. (Grim) Roth, Mohnton, and three grandchildren, Michael Freeman, Leesport, Kenny Freeman, State College, PA and Ian M. Roth, Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in St. Michaels Cemetery, Tilden Township. The Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., Hamburg is in charge of arrangements.
