Helen M. Ray

Helen M. Ray, 81, of Exeter passed away in her home on Feb. 17, 2021, in the company of her husband and daughters.

Helen was predeceased by three sons and one daughter: Michael Patrick Barlow, Mark Ray, Todd Ray, and Wendy Giordano, respectively. She is survived by her husband Bud Ray; children: Michele (Michael Lill); Bruce Ray(Teri); Deanna (John Reber); and Colleen (Michael Vallonio); and Albert Ray.

Helen was a lifelong homemaker and mother. She loved creating delicious meals for her family, decorating and redecorating her home and tackling the daily crossword puzzle. In addition to raising nine children, she is survived by eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Helen was especially proud to have cared for nine special needs foster children throughout her lifetime.

Visitors will be welcomed Monday, February 22, 2021 at 12:00 with a service to begin at 1:00 pm at Kuhn Funeral Home in West Reading. Interment will follow in the Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Helen's memory.
