Helen P. Goheen

Helen P. (Schlegel) Goheen, 90, of Laureldale, died of natural causes January 28th at 6:18 pm in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been since January 18th.

She was the widow of Albert C. Goheen, who died July 6, 1993.

Born in Fleetwood, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Hanna (Seyler) Schlegel.

She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

Goheen was employed for 20 years as a waitress at various local restaurants.

She is survived by a son, David A. Goheen of Reading.

There are also eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Goheen was predeceased by a daughter, Phyllis E. (Goheen) Sikora, who died 1999.

Services will be Thursday at 2:00pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing Wednesday 6:30 - 8:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in Fleetwood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
