Helen Rea Morgan, 91, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. She was the loving widow of Frederick H. Morgan Jr., who passed away on April 27, 2024.
Born in Philadelphia and raised in Clifton, NJ, she was a daughter of the late William C. and Jeannie Banks Rea. She graduated from Clifton High School in 1953, where she was a member of the Civil Air Patrol.
While visiting her sister in New Mexico, Helen met her future husband, and their great love grew. Over their 67 years of marriage, they raised four children and were devout members of the Kenhorst Boulevard Seventh-day Adventist Church. Helen was a Deaconess and eventually the Head Deaconess, Head Sabbath School Secretary, Head Sabbath School Superintendent, a Teacher in the Adult Sabbath School class, Head of the Kitchen Committee, and Song Leader. Helen also assumed the role of Co-leader with her husband, of the church's Thanksgiving Basket Program. Her devotion to the church will be long remembered.
Helen is survived by her children: Frederick III (Marcia), Geoffrey (Amanda), David (Sook Hee, and Jeannie Garcia (Edward); nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Fred, and parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Irene Stites, and her brother, David Rea.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 11:30 AM at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, with committal to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until the time of service.
