Helen L. Phillips

Helen L. Phillips, 93, formerly of Wyomissing, died April 9th at 6:35 am in the Mifflin Center, Cumru Township, where she had been since Friday.

She was the widow of Leonard Z. Phillips, who died January 25, 1980.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Sadie S. (Otto) Hupp.

She was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church.

Phillips is survived by a daughter with whom she had resided for the last five years, Marie L. (Phillips) Reider of Maidencreek Township.

She is also survived by a son, Ronald B. Phillips of Reading and a sister, Arlene (Hupp)Trout of Spring Township.

There are also eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

She was predeceased by two sons, Stewart E. Phillips, who died May 21, 1983 and David L. Phillips, who died March 5, 1988.

Services will be Wednesday at _______ in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Jeffrey A. Raffauf officiating. Viewing will be Wednesday ______ am until time of service. Burial will be in St. John's (Hain's) Cemetery, Wernersville. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, Pa 19605.
