Helen K. Kline, 69 of Shoemakersville died Tuesday morning, February 23rd in her residence. She was the wife of Bruce G. Kline to whom she was married to for 50 years. Helen was born in Shoemakersville and was the daughter of the late Henry A. and Lillian A. (Dietrich) Hartman. She was a 1964 graduate of Hamburg Area High School. Helen worked as a machine operator for Wright's Knitting Mill, Hamburg for 35 years. For the past 11 years Helen worked part time as a produce clerk at Weis Markets, Kutztown up until her death. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Hamburg. She and Bruce especially enjoyed traveling to the various local casinos. In addition to her husband, Helen is survived by two sons, Todd A. Kline, Fleetwood, Barry L. Kline, Shillington and Stephanie wife of Dean Arndt, Tilden Township to whom they thought of as their daughter. Three grandchildren, Zachary A. Kline, Heather A. Kale, Kayla B. Arndt and four great-grandchildren survive Helen. Additionally she is survived by two sisters, Ruth wife of Charles Kaley, Windsor Township, Florence Yerger, Shoemakersville and two brothers, Richard husband of Bernice Hartman, Mohrsville and David Hartman, Shillington. Two sisters, Jean Stoudt, Barbara Palm, and a brother Carl Hartman predeceased Helen. She enjoyed 14 years of companionship with her beloved dog, Trevor. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27th at 12:00 noon from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg, Pa. A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM until noon.
