Helen I. Noll Bernhart

Helen I. Noll Bernhart, 89, formerly of Temple died August 3, 2007, in ManorCare, Laureldale. Her first husband, John A. Noll, died in 1954. Her second husband, Ed Bernhart, died in 1979.

Born in Tilden Township, she was the daughter of the late Daniel H. and Louisa (Pierce) Bausher. She was a bench worker for AT&T, Reading, for 15-1/2 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of Zion Blue Mountain Union Church.

Helen was a member of Shoemakersville Fire Company, Central Fire Company of Centerport and Mount Pleasant Fire Company.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Eileen Noll, Reading. There is also one brother, Ernest Bausher, Molltown. Two grandchildren, Troy Noll and Denise Clayton; and four great-grandchidren, Thomas Noll, Gayle Noll, Morgan Clayton and Paige Clayton also survive her. She was pre-deceased by one son, Dennis L. Noll, in 1987.

Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Laureldale. Burial will be in Strausstown Union Cemetery of Upper Tulpehocken Township. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. For online condolences, please visit www.christfuneralhome.com
