Helen Hatzas

Helen Hatzas, 90, of Wyomissing, died May 23, 2016, at St. Joseph Hospital.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Nickolas and Aphrodite (Karaces) Hatzas.

She worked 30 years for Western Electric and AT&T.

Helen was a member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Reading.

She was a member and past vice president of the St. Xenia Philoptochos Society of Reading.

Helen is survived by one brother, Christy Hatzas, of Kenhorst; two nieces, Marian Cheri and Sharon K. Cheri and one nephew, Nickolas J. Hatzas.

Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1001 E Wyomissing Blvd, Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church. Contributions may be made to: Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church at the above address. Edward J.
